Our exclusive SmartWall systems are exactly that. Smart, in design and construction.  After a one year testing program at BCIT in their cold weather testing facility, our SmartWall System came out with positive results.

• THERMAL EFFICIENCY     SmartWall minimizes ‘thermal bridging’ – the amount of wood that acts as a bridge between the outside temperature conditions and the interior of the home.  In comparison with the conventional 2x6 wood frame wall, our SmartWall has 22.9% less heat loss and 37.5% less heat gain, resulting in a net improvement of 26.5% effective R-value.  These results show your Pacific SmartWall Home will use significantly less energy to heat and cool your home year after year.

 • HEALTHIER     SmartWalls use expanded polystyrene, the most cost effective insulation material. Clean, non-toxic, fire retarding, this inert product does not contain or release CFC’s or other gases. It has been used in construction for years, and more homes are increasingly being built with this proven method.

• QUIETER AND AIR TIGHT     SmartWalls are well known for their reduced sound transmission and air infiltration thanks to our quality manufacturing process.  BCIT’s laboratory air leakage measurements show that the SmartWall system has significantly lower air leakage than that of the conventional wall.

• EFFICIENT AND COST EFFECTIVE TO BUILD     Quick, easy, one-step construction means your house can be enclosed in a matter of days. Not only does that make for a substantial reduction of on-site labour and materials costs and waste, the house itself is swiftly protected from inclement weather.
