We are into some cold days at the moment...well cold for the island anyway.. -4C. The house is amazingly warm and very quiet inside. The winds need to be about 60-70 kph before we are even aware of them. A real testament to the smart wall system. With no heat on, the house will level off at about 60 F and sustain that level. Up to a comfortable 70 F when we fire up the wood stove. Just wanted to share this with you. I expect the insulation will also prove its worth in the summer when we are trying to keep the heat out.
